Visions of the Future
"Visions of the Future" is the theme for this year's 4th of July Parade, which will kick off around 10am on Wednesday, July 4th. The parade route will be slightly diverted this year due to Courthouse construction; it will follow 6th Street to Main starting at Wildcat Stadium, avoiding the Courthouse completely. The 4th promises to be a full day of fun, including turtle and duck races, watermelon for the masses, and a final TCRA Rodeo Performance with fireworks at the Hemphill County Recreation Complex capping off a great holiday week! July 3 ~ 5th Annual Canadian Ranch Rodeo. Canadian Rodeo Arena, 7pm. $10 admission.
July 4 ~ Parade, Wildcat Stadium to Main on 6th Street, 10am. Parade floats meet at Wildcat Stadium at 9am for registration and judging.
July 4 ~ Turtle Race, Presbyterian Church Tennis Courts. After Parade.
