Canadian, TX News You Can Use for April 22-28, 2013

Who Makes Your World Go 'Round?

The great entrepreneur, Mary Kay Ash reminded us that "Everyone has an invisible sign hanging from their neck that says, 'Make me feel important.'  Never forget this when working with people."

What a great reminder as we go into Administrative Professional's Week.  It's a great time to slow down and remember to say those critical words, "Thank You."  While the whole week is designated AP's week, specifically, Wednesday, April 24, is Administrative Professional's Day.  Make sure to pick up the phone today and order some flowers, or pick up a gift certificate for your AP's favorite restaurant or store.  A list of our Chamber Member Retailers can be found here.

And remember, "Silent gratitude isn't much use to anyone."  ~G.B. Stern
